Angelo Coassin, also known as the creator @cookingwithbello is a passionate Italian cook, a professional dancer and an actor.

Angelo was born in San Daniele del Friuli and grew up in the small town of Maniago, in the north-east of Italy.
He started cooking at a very young age, helping his mamma and grandmother in the kitchen. Through them he developed a passion for simple, authentic Italian recipes, using quality ingredients and a love of sharing these recipes with friends and family.
At the same time, aged only four, he started dancing ballet with Rita Gentile and Franco Favaro (both Accademia Teatro Alla Scala) appearing in several regional and national theatre productions.
In 2017 he moved to New York City to improve his ballet and contemporary techniques, studying at The Ailey School and at the Broadway Dance Center. Here, he was awarded the Outstanding Student Award in June 2017.
In 2018 Angelo moved to London to pursue his acting and dancing career, appearing in several theatre productions at the Royal Opera House (La Bayadère, Romeo and Juliet, The Firebird and The Sleeping Beauty) and at Sadler’s Wells (Alina at Sadler’s Wells).
In 2020, with theatres closed due to the pandemic, Angelo returned to his other great love, cooking. In April that year, he launched his food page @cookingwithbello and quickly attracted a loyal and engaged following as well as a lot of media attention.
He currently has 1m+ followers on Instagram and 1.5m+ followers on TikTok with nearly 3m+ likes. His content is fun, playful and full of brilliant, simple recipes that appeal to every level of cook. He has worked with a number of brands, including Fillippo Berio UK and Magesol who love his authentic Italian food…and his ever-so-slightly cheeky personality!
