CASE STUDY: Candice Brown with Breville
Author, pub owner and winner of the Great British Bake Off in 2016, Candice Brown is Brand Ambassador for the iconic kitchen and cooking applicance brand Breville. The ongoing relationship has seen a mix of online, in-person and PR-focused activities to showcase Breville's range of products.
The Brief
Candice was announced as Brand Ambassador for Breville in 2020 with a brief to support product launches and brand campaigns through press, live event and social media activities.
The Campaign
Candice's Breville partnership kicked off with a special socially-distanced ‘Be Your Own Barista’ coffee morning to help launch its new range of coffee machines. Candice led beginners' barista sessions with members of the press and Influencer guests trying their hand at latte art and sampling a slice of her coffee inspired cakes. She has gone on to support a range of product campaigns and launches with bespoke recipes and content tailored to each product (HeatSoft mixers, the Deepfill toastie maker, barista standard espresso and coffee makers) and hosting Influencer and media events. She has collaborated closely with Breville's marketing and PR teams to develop photography and assets, delivered across her social media channels with posts and Stories.
Results
The branded content that Candice has created with Breville fits seemlessly into her upbeat, fun and food-focused online presence and receives regular engagement from her 262K Instagram followers. Event coverage, product reviews and recipes have appeared in high profile media outlets including Hello, The Daily Telegraph, The Stylist and Real Homes magazine. Candice's relationship with Breville was recently extended for a further year as the campaigns have proved so successful.
