Ayesha Kalaji Joins the Yellow Poppy Media Family

Executive Chef and Owner of Queen of Cups in Glastonbury, Ayesha has recently been named Chef of the Year at the Estrella Damm Top 50 2026 — recognition of her place as one of the most exciting chefs working in Britain today.

Her restaurant, a 17th-century coaching inn transformed into a contemporary Middle Eastern dining destination, holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand and continues to earn national acclaim for its bold, ingredient-led cooking. Audiences will also know Ayesha from her appearances on Great British Menu and MasterChef: The Professionals, where her confident, spice-led style and warm screen presence have won her legions of fans.
