Mark Lutton Joins The Ration Challenge for Concern Worldwide UK

Former Great British Bake Off contestant Mark Lutton is going to take part in the Ration Challenge, which involves him living on the same rations as a Syrian refugee for one week.

The Ration Challenge is an initiative run by Concern Worldwide (UK) in partnership with Australian NGO Act for Peace. Mark will show solidarity with Syrian refugees by eating the same rations as those distributed to Syrian refugees in camps in Jordan from the 9th -15th May. The rations are just a small amount of rice, beans, chickpeas, lentils, fish, oil and flour. Mark will be sharing his experience on his Instagram account @thebakingbuddha and will endeavour to raise awareness and compassion of just one of the many struggles refugees are facing.
