Yellow Poppy Sign Bake Off Winner Peter Sawkins

We are really excited to announce that Great British Bake Off winner Peter Sawkins will be joining the Yellow Poppy family. Peter, an accounting & finance student university student from Edinburgh, is the youngest ever winner of Bake Off. He was nick-named the ‘baby-faced assassin’ by presenter Noel Fielding and has embraced the title this saying, “I love [being called the baby-faced assassin]! I wouldn’t have ever named myself that, but I quite like it. I always wanted my friends in the tent to do well, but at the same time I am quite competitive and always wanted to put in my best performance. I also tried to be as calm and collected in the tent as I possibly could . . . so maybe that’s a bit like being an assassin!” Peter has been a fan of the show for years, crediting the show as a reason he started baking. He has loved every part of his Bake Off experience so far, from learning new skills and techniques from the judges, to perfecting new flavour combinations and, of course, making friends for life . . .
